A real-time notification service built on SignalR that remembers what each user has already read, on every device.
About the project
A plug-in notification service that other apps can publish to. It delivers each message to everyone who should see it, stores it, and keeps track of what has been read.
What I did
- Set up a SignalR hub with a Redis backplane so it can scale across servers.
- Tracked read state per device and kept it in sync across sessions.
- Built a REST publishing API that three internal services use.
